What we handle

Six pieces of the federal billing workload

TP Professional Medical Billing Services works with David A. Testone on Department of Labor billing and credentialing support. These are the services, stated plainly — what we do, and what it means for your practice.

01

OWCP provider credentialing & enrollment

Enrollment and credentialing support for providers who treat injured federal workers through the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP). We organize the enrollment paperwork and confirm what your practice needs before the first claim is filed.

02

Department of Labor claim submission

Preparation and submission of medical claims to the Department of Labor under the federal fee schedule — a separate system from Medicare and state workers' compensation, with its own codes, forms, and documentation rules.

03

Denial correction & resubmission

Review of denied claims, correction of the documentation or coding issue, and resubmission through the proper channel. Denials are worked, not written off.

04

Underpaid claim recovery

Review of previously underpaid claims and resubmission for the difference. Under the OWCP program, underpaid claims can be reviewed and resubmitted for up to five years.

05

Treatment authorization

Help obtaining treatment authorization — in some cases up to six months in advance — so care is approved before it is delivered, not argued about after.

06

Billing compliance review

Documentation and compliance review so claims meet OWCP requirements before they go out the door. Clean claims are the goal; compliant documentation is how you get there.

07

Claim tracking & payment follow-up

Ongoing tracking of outstanding claims and structured follow-up on unpaid or slow-paid items, with unresolved items reported back to your practice.
